The AquaCam is a completely portable video camera unit that allows coaches to view or record swimmers from underwater, where technique errors can be seen clearly. Playback for coach and swimmer, especially with slo-motion and freeze-frame, is the single most powerful and effective correction technique available.
HOW IT WORKS:
The AquaCam clips to the end of a pole, is placed in the water and is viewed by the coach on their laptop as they follow the swimmer in frame. The video is converted to digital output and recorded via the included software. Start, Pause and Stop features make it easy to set up for the best viewing angles and recordings can be played back immediately for stroke demonstration and correction. The video adaptor with USB plug allows use with any flat screen TV, computer, laptop, DVR, or even an old VCR. Operates with either MacOS or Windows. Multiple options allow flexible use, with the goal of making your swimmers FASTER !

* WHAT IS "TIME-DELAY"
One of the best features we offer is the ability to do "time-delay" for your swimmers. This allows a delay in the playback (adjustable from 10 to 60 seconds) allowing your swimmers time to climb out of the pool, walk up to whatever monitor you are using, and immediately view what they just did while the "kinesthetic feeling" is still fresh in their mind and muscles.
They then get correction (or make changes themselves) and jump back in to see if they can correct the movement. (25's work well for this.) The effectiveness of this is that they can experiment after each viewing and see immediately what correction will make their stroke more efficient and FASTER. This can be done for select swimmers in one lane while the rest of the team practices.
This option (adaptor and software) can be added to any AquaCam unit for $89 but is only available for Windows operating systems.....but check your installed Mac or Windows software as some video software will offer this feature.
